What could possibly happen when a classically trained, but iconoclastic and curious musician as Matthieu Mantanus uses Johann Sebastian Bach's b-flat Partita as a guide for his discovering the electronic music world and then works on it with the italian visual artist Sara Caliumi?
The answer is an explosive multimedia trip in our contemporary world, where news, spirituality, travels, social media or AI emerge from Bach's notes
Matthieu sits at the keyboard where he alternates the execution of Bach's dances with his electronic variations, while the whole stage evolves around him.
BachBox is JeansMusicLab's second production, but the first that includes electronic music. A significant step in the evolution of the research of the artists, bringing ancient music they love into the word they live in.

Music by Matthieu Mantanus (BachBox - My Way), visual by Sara Caliumi - a JeansMusicLab production.
Since they were both doing it their way... this is "My Way", the last variation based on Bach's Gigue.
